Experience
General civil litigation practice with experience in insurance defense, employment law, wills, probate, guardianships, and domestic relations. During law school, Chávez Adkins served as a legal clerk for the State of New Mexico Risk Management Division and headed her own political consulting firm. Prior to law school, she served in government positions at the city, state and federal levels aiding elected officials with legislative issues and rapid media response. Chavez Adkins tutors law students preparing for the New Mexico Bar Exam and serves as an adjunct Professor in Communications and Legal Studies.
